The Church of Philadelphia

The church of Philadelphia is a prophetic church (meaning it does not exist yet) and it will appear in the end times of which we are now living. This church will consist of regenerated Christians and non Christians from many different religions and denominations (baptists, pentecostals, catholics, evangelicals, protestants, Greek orthodox, buddhists, muslims) etc. Amongst them there will be no leader because by the time they will have entered into the church of Philadelphia, they will have all gone through the same spiritual levels of education and they will have all been taught by God.* This church of Philadelphia is being established today. Its members will have reached a spiritual level where under no circumstance will they be fanatical of their beliefs. These beliefs will take time to be abolished because it took these people many years of struggle to acquire them. Time (maybe even years) will be required to break down this belief system. When dogma or a strong belief is abolished, love fills its place because love accepts everything. The stages we need to cross to get to love are:
1)   An understanding that a Philadelphian cannot criticize.
2)   Respect of every fellow man’s pure and good way of worshipping. For example, some people will want to lent meaning not eating certain foods because they believe this will help them, other people may not eat at all. Some others will want to pray in the morning or at night, muslim men wash their feet and hands several times a day. It does not matter, let everyone worship as they please. We are not here to place judgement.
3)   Sincere love, not with words but with action. These actions are, a Philadelphian will not criticize any person and in no way criticize any fellow Christian brother or his belief system. Not even his enemy will he criticize.Neither will he invite his siblings to his form of thinking through judgement. This form of thinking will be the foundation of Philadelphia. This spirit will create the church of Philadelphia. If we have this spirit within us, we now belong to this church. Where will we find this church of Philadelphia?
a.      The Kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21)
b.     And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (revelations 21:3)

If we criticize, if we lie, if we are fanatics, if we judge and have ego, we belong to the other churches. Attention then! He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (revelations 2:7), And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (revelations 12:10).  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelations 21:1-8).

The Voice of God, through the Holy Spirit is working to create the church of Philadelphia in the manner that God is granting to it (through spiritual messages) and through the gospel of the Kingdom. The members of this church will be Christians and non-Christians irrespective of their individual belief systems. The key elements that the Gospel of the Kingdom professes are:

1) cohesion (or unity), that we may all be united no matter what religion or dogma we may be,
2) indivisibility - that we may never be divided or singled out but all of us acting together as one
3) the abolishing of physical death - that we may find the elements which corrupt our body and weed them out so that we may never taste death
4) the establishment of the Kingdom - a society where we will be governed by God’s rules
5) the creation of God’s people - people who will be trained in the good and bad and willingly they will choose to stay with the good, which is God.

Let’s see what the Lord says about this church of Philadelphia when he refers to it in the book of revelations .

7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. (Revelations 3:7-11)

*Taught by God is a key common trait of those who will become members of the church of Philadelphia. For a Christian who seeks to learn more about God, the way that God teaches him is when he enters into his sanctuary and starts reading the Holy Bible. Thomas also suggests to read the speeches that he writes which he calls the “regenerative teachings of the Voice of God”. Once a person does this, he will have questions of which he will seek answers to. One way to get answers to these questions is by talking to colleagues who are on the same spiritual path or by praying to God directly. Over time thoughts and ideas will come to the person who prays. He will go through a period of idea evaluation and gradually through time he will adopt the ideas that help him on his path and those that don’t. Over time the person who is studying will be able to discern which ideas come from an angel (they are usually commands or instructions) those which come from the devil (which raise fear, doubt etc) and those which come from the Lord Himself (because they will be soothing and filled with love and wisdom). The key point during this whole process though is not to get stuck on one idea and become a fanatic about it. This will impede your learning curve and cause you to get stuck on a specific spiritual level. Thomas insists on not getting stuck but on moving forward. One way to move forward and for God to enlighten you is for you to be a spirit of contribution. Seek to help others whether they are loved ones or complete strangers. You can help through kind words and dialogue, financially or just giving of your time. This learning process will eventually evolve and you will be able to get direct messages from God. I compare this path of spiritual growth to the cleaning of our bodily antennas so that we can receive God’s messages. Patience, perseverance and time are required for you to clean up all your old and bad habits and replace them with Christ centered habits. You will be able to determine your level of understanding and adoption of Christ’s teachings by comparing yourself to Paul’s definition of love which is outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7  Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, 5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. You will also be able to determine your spiritual level by seeing how many of the spiritual gifts you possess: For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; 9 to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; 10 and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

Once a person gets some or all of these gifts and becomes love as Paul describes it, the angels, Jesus and eventually God will visit with them and they will be instructed directly by them. These will be the people who will become members of the church of Philadelphia.
